• Weekly Lunches: These are great opportunities to get your feet wet. These lunches are very low-key requiring little to no work. We are very intentional in the way we approach these gatherings. We believe in the idea of sharing a meal rather than serving a meal or feeding the homeless.
  • Syringe Exchange: One a week we partner with the Carolina Beach Police Department and North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition to set a Syringe Exchange in Carolina Beach. These times are very meaningful, for we engage these individuals right where are they are.
  • Change For Change: Once a week we gather at Cape Fear Cleaners in Leland to partner with Closer Walk United Methodist Church offer free laundry, food, and fun. This gathering is centered around meeting a need, however, also building community.
  • Clean Water Distribution: We are partnering with Tidal Creek Co-Opp to provide safe clean water to individuals throughout New Hanover County who do not have the means.
  • Street Outreach: We spend quite a bit of time in the Market Street District. We have come to the realization that a lot of individuals are not just isolated from resources but also community. This time is a time of listening and engaging.
